Q: Can I use Vibrant Glass Tile on my Kitchen Countertop? A: Vibrant Glass Tiles are as durable as ceramic tile once set in the thin set. They are perfect for kitchen countertops and bathroom countertops.
Q: Do these tiles come in frosted glass as well as the translucent glass tiles? A: The majority of these tiles are available in both clear and frosted finish just click on more information for details.
Q: Since these tiles are meshed backed can I pull the tiles off the sheet and how many tiles are on a sheet? A: These tiles can be peeled off of the meshed backing very easily. There are 36 individual 2" x 2" glass tiles and there are 121 individual 1" x 1" glass tiles on the sheet.
Q: Can I create my own blend using these tiles in both clear and frosted finish? A: Yes you can choose up to 5 different colors to create your own custom blend. The 5 colors can be of a clear or frosted finish if available. These tiles will be blended to create unique sq. ft. sheet. We cannot custom blend a specific pattern at this time, only random blends based on the percentages chosen.. The blended tiles will come tape faced. Due to non-uniform tile sizes, a precise grout joint cannot be guaranteed.
Q: How are these tiles sold? A: Vibrant Tiles are sold per sheet. Each sheet is 1 sq. ft. There is no minimum order required.
Q: Can I use Translucent Glass Tiles in my bathroom? A: Vibrant Glass Tiles can be used in bathroom tubs, pools, kitchens, and since they are available in frosted can be used on the floor. The frosted finish helps reduce slipping.
Q: Once I order how long will it take until I get my order and where is this product shipping from? A: The vibrant tiles ship from our New Jersey facility. We typically ship with in 2 -3 business days. The time in transit will depend on where you are located. If you would like to find out your shipping cost just simply add the items to the cart, put in your name and address information and the cart will provide you with the shipping costs.
Q: How thick are the Vibrant Glass Tiles? A: The tiles are 4mm thick.
Q: If I want a size that you do not carry can I order it? A: We can custom order many different sizes and thicknesses for you. Q: Can these tiles be used for the entire pool walls? A: Yes the Vibrant glass tiles are typically used for either the water line of a pool or the entire pool wall.
Q: Is there a specific thinset or mastic I should use? A: Yes for all glass tile it is recommended that you use a modified laytex thinset.
Q: Does the tile have to be sealed if it is used in a pool? A: It is recommended that you finish with a sealer when installing in the pool.
Q: How do I cut the Vibrant Glass Tiles? A: You can cut these tiles with a hand scoring and cutting tool available to purchase just call us at 1-800-497-6827, or you can use a wet saw, you must use a glass cutting diamond blade with your wet saw.
